NETGEAR CM500 Cable Modem Review

The NETGEAR CM500 cable modem is ideal for XFINITY Blast and Extreme customers, Cox, and Spectrum subscribers. However, it is compatible with almost every cable provider. The CM500 is for speed tiers mostly up to 300 Mbps. It is Cable Labs and DOCSIS 3.0 certified and is 16X faster than 2.0 devices.

Next to the ARRIS SB6141, the CM500 is one of the best-selling cable modems of all time. I own one and have been using it with Comcast for over two years now. Not once have I had a problem with it. My subscribed speed is 100 Mbps and it keeps up with it continuously. The NETGEAR CM500 has been a perfect fit for my XFINITY service. I highly recommend the CM500 to anyone looking for a modem for speeds up to 300 Mbps.
