Service Electric (SECTV) Cable Modems

Service Electric does allow the use of your own cable modem. They suggest a DOCSIS 3.0 modem with 32×8 channel bonding or a DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem. Be aware that most, but not all, 3.0 modems with 32×8 channel bonding were built with a faulty chipset. This was an Intel problem that affected all brands of cable modems. With all of that in mind, all of these cable modems will work with SECTV Internet services.
