How can I increase my Internet speed with Atlantic Broadband?

If you are not using the correct modem for your service tier, you can be losing out on speed. If your modem doesn’t have the correct number of download channels, this will hinder performance. Additionally, if you are using a poor router with your modem, wireless speeds and distances will be lagging. Wireless AC is the current standard and offers the fastest wireless speeds and distance of signal transmissions. Compare your modem and router here.

What is the best cable modem for Atlantic Broadband?

This greatly depends on your subscribed speed and what you do online (watch TV, email, play games, etc.). Additionally, you must decide if you’d like a standard cable modem or a WiFi cable modem. Be sure to check out the compatible Atlantic Broadband modems list here before you buy.
